AU]]~ORIZATION TO PURCHASE PRESSURE WASHER FOR STREET DEPARTMENT; REQUEST FOR <br /> <br />Merle Movissen explained to the Council the type of pressure washer <br />he wished to acquire for the Street Department. <br /> <br />The following price quotes were received: <br /> a) Hotsy Equipment Company <br /> Model 530 180 G.P.H. - 550 PSI $1,625.00 <br /> <br />b) Electro Magic <br /> Model 660B 180 G.P.H. - 600 PSI $1,479.20 <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson <br />to spend up to $1,479.20 for the purchase of a pressure washer as <br />described under Item b) above for the City Street Department. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />PRELIMINARY PLAT/FINAL PLAT APPROVAL: REQUEST 'OF ROLAND LOOYEN:~ <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that Mr. Looyen would have to dedicate Garnet Street <br />to the City and his present residence driveway and the new proposed <br />residence would both have to access onto Garnet Street. The access <br />onto 167th Avenue would have to be deleted. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox noted that this plat approval is for the intent of only <br />one additional lot for a- single family dwelling. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to approve <br />the preliminary and final plat of Roland Looyen Estates provided the <br />City receive easement for right of way and dedication of Garnet Street <br />to the City and that the upgrading of the road will be waived at this <br />time, however, any additional dwellings that are built or any future <br />subdivision of the land will require that the road be blacktopped to <br />City standards. The platting of Roland Looye2 Estates will permit <br />one single family dwelling to be built at this time and that both his <br />present dwelling and the new construction are to access on 167th via <br />Garnet Street easement and the City will not be responsible for the <br />maintenance of the Street. Further, all other City Code and engineering <br />requirements, and City attorney approval must be met. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: B~yor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, <br />Reimann, and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN STANLEY BROWNING AND THE CITY REGARDING HIS REQUEST <br />TO CONSTRUCT AN ACCESSORY BUILDING <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann and seconded by Sor~eberg to approve the performance <br />contract between Stanley Browning and the City of Ramsey and authorizing <br />the Mayor and City Administrator to sign and enter into the contract. <br /> <br />Regular Council Meeting -10/9/79 <br /> Page ? <br /> <br /> <br />
