AU]]~ORIZATION TO PURCHASE PRESSURE WASHER FOR STREET DEPARTMENT; REQUEST FOR Merle Movissen explained to the Council the type of pressure washer he wished to acquire for the Street Department. The following price quotes were received: a) Hotsy Equipment Company Model 530 180 G.P.H. - 550 PSI $1,625.00 b) Electro Magic Model 660B 180 G.P.H. - 600 PSI $1,479.20 Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to spend up to $1,479.20 for the purchase of a pressure washer as described under Item b) above for the City Street Department. Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. PRELIMINARY PLAT/FINAL PLAT APPROVAL: REQUEST 'OF ROLAND LOOYEN:~ Mayor Gamec stated that Mr. Looyen would have to dedicate Garnet Street to the City and his present residence driveway and the new proposed residence would both have to access onto Garnet Street. The access onto 167th Avenue would have to be deleted. Councilman Cox noted that this plat approval is for the intent of only one additional lot for a- single family dwelling. Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to approve the preliminary and final plat of Roland Looyen Estates provided the City receive easement for right of way and dedication of Garnet Street to the City and that the upgrading of the road will be waived at this time, however, any additional dwellings that are built or any future subdivision of the land will require that the road be blacktopped to City standards. The platting of Roland Looye2 Estates will permit one single family dwelling to be built at this time and that both his present dwelling and the new construction are to access on 167th via Garnet Street easement and the City will not be responsible for the maintenance of the Street. Further, all other City Code and engineering requirements, and City attorney approval must be met. Motion carried. Voting yes: B~yor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann, and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. AGREEMENT BETWEEN STANLEY BROWNING AND THE CITY REGARDING HIS REQUEST TO CONSTRUCT AN ACCESSORY BUILDING Motion by Reimann and seconded by Sor~eberg to approve the performance contract between Stanley Browning and the City of Ramsey and authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to sign and enter into the contract.
