CASE #4: <br /> <br />CASE #5: <br /> <br />c) Enclosure (D2-d) City Council's minutes dated June 11, <br />1979, which granted preliminary plat approval. <br /> <br />d) Enclosure (D2-e) Engineer's letter dated December 10, <br />1979, which covers his comments on the proposed final plat. <br /> <br />e) Exhibit #1 plans for plat. <br /> <br />ACQUIRING OF LAND; REGARDS TO RUM RIVER BRIDGE CROSSING AND <br /> <br />RECREATION AREA: <br /> <br />Council several months ago appointed Councilman Cox to <br />pursue the possibilities/feasibility of a recreation center <br />to be'located at the Rum River Bridge Crossing area. <br /> <br />'Consequently, in view of the above the following is being <br /> brought before the City Council for your review and action. <br /> The City Engineer will cover the land acreage involved and <br /> the City Attorney will cover the procedures the City will <br /> have to execute in order to legally acquire the land area <br /> that will be available for easements on Highway #47 bridge- <br /> right-of-way and for recreation center. <br /> <br />Documents showing land area will be available at the Council <br />meeting for your review. It is requested that Council mem- <br />bers come into City Hall prior to the meeting to review the <br />land areas. <br /> <br />BLAINE-MIDWAY CONTRACT FOR 1980: <br /> <br />Enclosure (D2-f) is enclosed for your review and action. <br />The only change to the contract is the rate and theY all <br />increased by 50~. <br /> <br />Comments: I haven't received any complaints here on their <br />operation. So they must be doing a satisfactory job. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove <br />the contract and authorize the Mayor to sign it. <br /> <br /> <br />
