Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #16-10-196 <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS OPENED SEPTEMBER 21, 2016 FOR THE <br /> RAMSEY MUNICIPAL COMPLEX SITE DEMOLITION <br /> WHEREAS, a public bid opening was held on September 21, 2016 for the Ramsey <br /> Municipal Complex Site Demolition project and such bids were opened and read aloud; <br /> WHEREAS, per the bid documents dated August 15, 2016 the City of Ramsey reserves <br /> the right to reject any and all bids at its sole discretion; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> 1) Any and all bids received by the City of Ramsey on September 21, 2016 for the Ramsey <br /> Municipal Complex Site Demolition project are hereby rejected. <br /> 2) All bid bonds, certified checks, or other forms of bid security shall be returned to any and <br /> all bidders. <br /> 3) City staff is hereby directed to advertise for bids for the same improvements with revised <br /> specifications at a later date. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> LeTourneau, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Williams <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> None <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br />
