Councilmember Shryock introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #17-02-048 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE RESILIENT COMMUNITIES <br /> PROGRAM OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of is seeking assistance to complete initiatives of the Strategic Plan, <br /> Comprehensive Plan, and associated work plans for the community; and <br /> WHEREAS, the University of Minnesota's Resilient Communities Program provides an <br /> opportunity for students to assist and provide resources to community projects, including those <br /> included in many of the City's goals and initiatives. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes Staff to submit an application to the <br /> Resilient Communities Program. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> LeTourneau, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Strommen, <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Williams <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> None <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> None <br />
