COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />public Utilities ~sanitary sewer and water) ~ At %h~ EDC <br />meeting of June 9, 1982, the Commission stated that they <br />would like to have a report of sanitary sewer here in Ramsey. <br />Accordingly, the City Administrator informed the Commission <br />that the City Engineer was preparing a feasibility report as <br />to what sanitary sewer costs would be to serve the southwest <br />quadrant of the City. <br /> <br />The City Administrator further stated to the Commission that <br />an ad hoc committee would have to be formed for %he purpose <br />of developing proposed policy for the implementation of public <br />utilities (water and sewer), storm sewer and streets in the <br />City of Ramsey. The Commission recommended the following <br />appointments to this ad hoc committee: Commissioner Darryl <br />Fults, Commissioner Jack Menkveld and Commissioner Bill Miller. <br /> <br />Consequently, enclosure (D2-a) contains Resolution ~82-89 <br />which appoints members to the ad hoc committee to develop the <br />policy regarding public improvements. Further, copies of the <br />feasibility study being done by City Engineer Raatikka will be <br />forwarded to Commissionmembers during the week of July 27, 1982. <br />Mr. Raatikka will be available to report to Commissionmembers <br />regarding this report for your meeting on August 11, 1982. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan - A copy of Council Resolution #82-91 is <br />contained in enclosure (D2-b) for informational purposed which <br />indicated that the City of Ramsey has adopted their Comprehensive <br />Plan and it has been adopted by the Metropolitan Council also. <br /> <br />d) <br /> <br />Rum River Bridge Crossing - At the June 9, 1982 meeting, the <br />City of Ramsey was concerned about the fact that the County had <br />considered changing the Rum River Bridge alignment; however, we <br />have been informed by the County Engineer's office that this is <br />not going to happen. <br /> <br />e) <br /> <br />Landfill - The City Council is still trying to get a meeting <br />arranged on this issue and when we do get the meeting arranged, <br />we will notify you of it. <br /> <br />f) <br /> <br />Green Acres Law - The City of Ramsey and the farmers met with <br />Mr. Lyle Ask of the State Revenue Dept. regarding the Green Acres <br />Law and we learned that o~ Ramsey City Assessor will be able to <br />set the valuations on tillable soil based on what land is renting <br />for in the City. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br /> <br />
