Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #16-11-233 <br /> RESOLUTION TO REHIRE A POLICE TECHNICIAN <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Jennifer Johnson submitted a letter of resignation in October resigning <br /> her fulltime position; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff received approval by consensus at the October 25, 2016 work-session <br /> to move ahead with a part-time recruitment; and <br /> WHEREAS, as required under the AFSCME labor agreement, this position was <br /> advertised internally for five days; and <br /> WHEREAS,the city received Ms. Johnson's letter of interest and no other candidates <br /> applied; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends rehiring Ms. Jennifer Johnson as the City's new part-time <br /> police technician at her most recent rate of pay of$22.81 per hour and leave accrual rate, <br /> effective November 7, 2016. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) Motion to adopt resolution 42016-11-233 to rehire Ms. Jennifer Johnson as the City's <br /> new part-time police technician at her most recent rate of pay of$22.81 per hour and <br /> leave accrual rate. <br /> That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Kuzma and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Williams <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br />
