TO: Economic Development Commission FROM: City Administrator RE: Commission Business Enclosure (D2-a) (D2 -b) Proposal for the establishment of a Local Development Corporation and proposed agreement as submitted by Mr. Klein of Preferred Planning Services Legislative and Congressional information CASE ~1: MR. STEPHEN KLEIN REGARDING THE FORMATION OF A LOCAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION: CASE #2: Council, at their special meeting of March 1, 1982, referred this case over to this Commission for a recommendation. Mr. Stephen Klein of Preferred Planning Service will be present to give a presentation on what his firm will do for the City of Ramsey in the formation of a Local Development Corporation if his firm is hired to accomplish this task. Accordingly, enclosure (D2-a) contains the following documents: 1) Proposal for the establishment of a Local Development Corporation 2) Proposed agreement as submitted by Mr. Klein of Preferred Planning Services Commission Action: Your action on this case will be to make a recommendation to~e City Council. You won't be expected at this meeting to give your recom- mendation, but Council would like it for their March 23, 1982 Council meeting. The City Councilmembers will be present at this meeting, so if you have any questions on this issue, you should ask them. SANITARY SEWER SERVICE: Mr. Pete Raatikka, City Engineer, will address the sanitary sewer service as being proposed by Ramsey's proposed Comprehensive Plan. Mr. Raatikka will have a handout for Commissionmembers at the meeting. Commission Action: Your action will be to make a recommendation to the City Engineer and City Council in regards to the sanitary sewer service as being proposed in Ramsey's Comprehensive Plan. Councilmembers will be present at this meeting, so if you have any questions, direct them at this time, as Council and City Staff people will be present.
