Case <br /> <br /> Consider Approval of Lighting Fixture for Ramsey Town Center <br />Brian E. Olson, Assistant Director of Public Works / Principal City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Pursuant to the Master Development Agreement for the Ramsey Town Center, the Master Developer has <br />the responsibility to construct the streetscaping associated with the Municipal State Aid (MSA) roads that <br />include Sunwood Drive, Rhinestone Street and Zeolite Street. <br /> <br />The new lighting fixture that was discussed at the work session earlier tonight has about a 12 week delivery <br />date mud the Master Developer has verbally agreed to install these fixtures this fall as part of the Interim <br />Streetscape Plan. <br /> <br />Brace Jacobson from Close Landscape and Architecture will be present at the meeting to make a <br />presentation about the new lighting fixture that we are recommending. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff spent numerous hours looking at various options for the lighting fixture that is before you <br />tonight and recommends that the City Council approve this fixture for the Ramsey Town Center <br />Streetscapc Plan so that the Developer can make an order with Connexus to install these fixtures later <br />this Fall. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to approve the use these fixtures and size the poles large enough to accommodate City approved <br />banners and signs. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Administrator <br />Director of Public Works <br /> <br />CC: 7/27/04 <br /> <br /> <br />
