Transportation Needs of the Southeastern Portion The need to develop arterials which will provide access from the developed areas to the remainder of the County and to the entire metropolitan area and will prevent the utilization of the regional arterial system for those trips not regional in nature. The need to develop arterials to support development occurring because of the completion of 1-35W and $5E. The need to develop controls to provide adequate setbacks for development adjacent to the County system and to limit the number of access points to the system. Transportation Needs of the Southwestern and South Central Portions The need to develop a more dense grid to support development which has occurred and is occurring.
