MEMO

FROM: City Administrator

TO: Planning & Zoning Commission

SUBJ: Citizen input in regards to Planning Commission agenda
\

1. In the past I have not held a close deadline on things for
your agenda. Consequently in as much as our agenda has to be
to the paper by the wednesday preceding the Planning Commission
meeting, we will now close out the agenda on tuesday 5:00 p.m.
preceding your meeting so we can meet these deadlines.

2. Now, in regards to people who come in after the deadline,
we will tell them they may state their case to the Planning
Commission during citizen input. However at that time it will
be your decision as to whether you want to add them to.the
agenda or refer them back to the next Planning Commission
meeting. I guess each case will have to be evaluated on its
own merits.

3. As an example, you have two citizens who will be coming
before you this time who didn't make the agenda.

a. Mr. Torgeson - Who wants to buy 10 acres of land
in the Rural Serivce area for his Well Drilling buSiness
and residence.

b. Mr. Holker - Who has a metes and bound plat for your
review. Council had referred him-~to y~u at their special
meeting on October 2, 1978.
