Page 2 <br />March 12, 1979 <br />Regular Council <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Cox to approve <br />the minutes of the public hearing dated February 26, 1979 for Brook View <br />Estates with the following corrections: <br /> <br />Page i Paragraph 9 should read: <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated there is a power line easement that runs <br />through there. City Engineer Raatikka also stated there was the potential <br />of five two and one-half acre minimum lot sizes. <br /> <br />Page i Paragraph 12 should read: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that some letters had been received from residents <br />and non residents of Brook View Estates who were in favor of the street <br />improvement. They were from Arnold Carlson, Mr. & Mrs. Richard Norcutt, <br />Mr. Robert Muller and Mr. Steve Schmitt. <br /> <br />Page 2 Paragraph 8 should read: <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated they could run a ditch through the right- <br />of way to eleviate this. <br /> <br />Page 2 Paragraph 10 should read: <br />Mr. Kreyer stated we should deal with the drainage problems before making <br />permanent streets. <br /> <br />Page 2 Paragraph 18 should read: <br />Mayor Gamec stated if they should develop the land they could get the <br />most money out of it. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Mickelson and Cox. Voting <br />no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve the <br />minutes of the public hearing dated February 26, 1979 on Amending the Zoning <br />Ordinance with the following corrections: <br /> <br />Page i paragraph 2 should read:' <br />Mayor Gamec explained that the public hearing had been called for the pur- <br />pose of getting citizen input on the rezoning of the Rural Service Area <br />from ten acres to two and one-half acres. He also stated that the City <br />would have a better control overplatting of land and it should cut down <br />on the metes and bounds descriptions. <br /> <br />Page i paragraph 5 should read: <br />Mayor Gamec stated there were some letters from J. Steven Schmidt and <br />Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Donovan who were also in favor of the rezoning and <br />proceeded to read them to the Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Mickelson and Cox. Voting <br />no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve the <br />minutes of the Board of Adjustment hearing dated February 26, 1979 regarding <br />Progressive Homes, Inc. <br /> <br /> <br />
