Ben Deemer abstained. <br /> <br />Menkveld's Pine Hills North <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka reviewed his engineer's report with the Commission with discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by Kathy Schneider,'seconded by Ron West to recommend to the City Council <br />to grant approval of Menkveld's Pine Hills North Preliminary Plat subject to <br />the following : <br />1.) Variances be granted to lots 1 & 2 to allow lots deficient in width. <br />2.)Variance be granted regarding providing soil data. <br />3.)Developer comply with Article 170.038H of the City Code requiring <br /> ~ evaluation of lots proposed for individual~wa~reatment systems bY the <br /> Plumbing inspector. <br />4.)Variance be granted to article 170.04 (4) of the Code for lot 2 which does <br /> not meet the 25% requirement for contiguous Class I land. <br />5.)Developer conform with the recommendations #4,5, &6 of the engineers letter <br /> of 5/21/79.(Profile & width of existing street along with transition to proposed <br /> street, grading plan, resubdivision plan, payment of park fee.) <br /> <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Si~e P19n and Design review of Commercial, Industrial and M.B. <br />Discussion of this item with the consensus of the Commission to appoint a sub- <br />committe consisting of Ron West as Chairmam, John Hubbard, Ben Deemer, Art Dunn <br />to work with the City attorney and consulting ordinances of other cities fo~. <br />presentation to the entire Commission at the July 2nd meeting. Also consulted <br />will be Engineer Raatikka. To be considered will be defining two types of <br />zoning such as "~ight & heavy". Motion by Ben Deemer, seconded by Gerry Zimmerman to move the Citizen's <br />input portion for the meeting to the last item~ Motion carried 6-0. <br />with a five minute limit. <br /> <br /> <br />
