CASE #: 7 <br /> <br />Memo <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />August 27, 2004 <br /> <br />Ramsey Planning Commission <br /> <br />Community Development Staff <br /> <br />Staff Update <br /> <br />Past Planning Commission Cases: <br /> <br />In the month of August, the City Council approved the following land use cases: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Amend the Shoreland Management Regulations of the City Code; <br />Case of City of Ramsey <br />Request for Final Plat Review of Alpine Acres 3rd and 4th Addition; Case of Oak Creek <br />Builders <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Establish Regulations for the Operation of Personal Use Heliports; <br />Case of City of Ramsey <br />Request for Site Plan Review for of Wiser ~2hoice Liquor Store; Case of M&W Holdings, <br />LLC. <br /> <br />Request for Conditional Use Permit to Exceed the Allotted Square Footage for <br />Accessory Buildings; Case of Martin and Ruth Mechtel <br /> <br />Request for Home Occupation Permit; Case of Bretton Gates <br /> <br />Request for Site Plan Review; Case of Sharp and Associates <br /> <br />Request for Amended Conditional Use Permit to Allow for Expansions of. the Green <br />Valley Greenhouse Operations in the R-1 Residential District; Case of John Rowe <br />Request for Final Plat Approval of The Village of Sunfish Lake 2ad Addition; Case of <br />Liberty Land Development, Inc. <br /> <br />R~I Rural Developing Ordinance: <br />The City Council is expected to take up the R-1 Rural Developing amendments in September. As <br />a reminder, the moratorium on this zoning district will expire on September 12th, 2004. The City <br />is unable to extend the moratorium due to changes in State law that took effect on August 1, <br />2004. <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan: <br />Staff is working with Hoisington Koegler to plan an Open House to kick off the update of the <br />Comprehensive Plan. The Open House is tentatively scheduled for September 23~afrom 6:00~ <br />8:00 PM, to be held at the Fire Station. <br /> <br />67 <br /> <br /> <br />
