D. PLANNING CO~ISSION BUSINESS

Enclosures (DS-a) Copy of Parcels on Section map
(OS-b) City map

5) MR. ALBERT SWEN:

Mr. Swen wants to sell a 40 acre parcel marked "A" on the attached portion
of the Section map. He owns both "A'! and "B" which are two separate 40 acre
parcels.

He said he needs to sell the land due to financial reasons. He is retired,
on pension and plans to keep parcel "B" which is his present homestead.

The land is located in Section 5 and has been used for agricultural purposes.

Contacted the County on recording date on parcel "A". Reference: Document
No. 313764, Book 795, Page 489, recorded in 1968. No subdivision is involved
here.

Mr. Swen has no access to parcel "A". Refer to Section 170.0314B Access which
states -- No permit for the erection of any building shall be issued unless
such building is to be located upon a parcel of land abutting a street or
highway which has been designated on an approved plat, or on an official map
of the Cdty, or which has been otherwise approved by the City Council.

Merle Mevissen and Clayton Berg have been contacted regarding the possibility
of using the road called "Outlot G" for access. They both indicate that it
is not economically feasible to build a road through this area as it is a
swampy mashy area.

Mr. Swen wants to run a driveway through his parcel "B" to give access to
"A". If Planning Commission does go along with his request~mention should
be made to Mr. Swen about obtaining a letter from the County on the access
onto a County Road.
