110.8 Fees <br /> <br />A. The following schedule of fees forSign permits is <br /> established: <br /> <br />1. Initial Fees. <br /> <br />a. All newly .constructed onsite business and <br /> advertising signs: $5.00 for the first five~ <br /> square feet; $.25 for each additional square <br /> foot thereafter. A minimum of $10.00 and a <br /> maximum of $50.00 shall apply to each sign. <br /> All onsite business and advertising signs exist- <br /> ing prior to the adoption of this Ordinance <br /> shall be exempted of an initial fee. <br /> <br />b. ~11 other'signs: .40 square feet°r less in <br /> area - $25.00; greater than 40 square feet in <br /> area - $50.00 <br /> <br />2. Annual fees for offsite advertising signs shall <br /> be $25.00 for each 300 square feet of sign face. <br /> Annual fees~for onsite business and advertising <br /> signs shall be $5.00. . ..~ <br /> <br />3. NO fee shall be required for signs exempted by <br /> subparagraph 110~7 (B) above. <br /> <br />4. Fees may be w~ived bY the City Council for Signs <br /> . containing a religiOus, civic, school or public <br /> interest subject. <br />5, Fees shall not be'pr°Lrated~, <br /> <br />6'. All fees may be changed by City Council resolution. <br />Licenses and Bonds .... <br /> <br />1. No person, firm or corporation shall engage in the. <br /> business of erecting signs under this Ordinance <br /> unless licensed to do so by the CityCouncil. <br /> Such license maybe granted by the City'Council' <br /> after wr. itten application to the City Clerk-Treasurer, <br /> accompanied by-an annual.license fee of.'tw~lve (12) dol- <br /> ,. lars. This license may be terminated by the City <br /> Council atany time for cause. The' license shall <br /> be in effect from January1 to December 31, and <br /> each year thereafter.'
