CARSON HOMES REQUESTING BUILDING 'PERMITS 'FOR:THREE PARCELS 'OF LAND ON <br /> <br />179~I 'LANE <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson, seconded by Councilman Reimann to allow <br />a subdivision of three parcels into ten acre parcels legally described as <br />follows. Each parcel will be permitted one access onto County Road 7 <br />(179th Lane NW). Said subdivision contingent on developer deeding to the <br />City for road purposes over and across the north 93 feet of the entire <br />three parcels that subdivider agree that a restriction may be presently <br />place for each of the subdivided parcels such that future subdivision <br />and access request onto County Highway No. 7 requiring frontage road be <br />buil~, to City standards at the subdivider's expense. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />PARK D~LOPMENT-TI?TE~ PARK <br /> <br />Mr. Walz of the P & R Commission was present in regard to Titterud park <br />development. He needs Council approval to proceed with this project <br />for grading this year and ballfield and parking. <br /> <br />Mr. Walz also requests perdiem payment for P & R members. <br /> <br />Discussion held on bonds and funding development of parks and getting <br />citizen response to it. He asked that the City look at the possibility <br />of hiring a park maintenance person on an 18 month CETA funded program. <br />He feels the City will need a fulltime Person in the near future. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said this could be reviewed at budget time. <br /> <br />Councilman Sorteberg suggested P & R members receive the perdiem expense <br />reimbursement because of the job they are doing. <br /> <br />Mr. Walz added that the Park & Recreation members are responsible for <br />supervising the parks in the community. This involves ten to twelve hours <br />a month besides the meeting time. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to <br />pay the P & R Commission members $12 for attending regular meetings <br />as a perdiem expense. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Reimann to authorize <br />the calling for bids and setting the bid opening for Titterud Park project <br />for August 24, 1979 at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
