BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT! <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA' COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due Call and notice thereof, the Ramsey City Board of Adjustment <br />held a meeting on July 23, 1979, at the' Ramsey Municipal Center on 1S153 <br />Nowthen' BouleVard N.W., Anoka, Minnesota 5530'3 <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec Also Present: <br />CoUncilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Reimann <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br />Councilman Cox <br /> <br />Administrator Schnelie <br />Engineer Raatikka <br />Attorney Goodrich <br /> <br />Chairman Mickelson called' the Board of Adjustment to order' at 7:42 P.M. <br />and led the' Pledge Of Allegiance '.to'the' Flag. The' purpose'of the hearing <br />is to consider' a request' from'Mr~ Rex' Schaefer. to construct a garage <br />closer to the' Side yard lot' line than ten' (10)' feet'.' <br /> <br />Discussion was held on the' Size bf the' Proposed' garage.' <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann said he' Could go along with a five '(5) foot variance and <br />asked' if there is a possibility that Mr'.. Schaefer' could have a detached <br />garage. <br /> <br />Mr. Schaefer replied that he' has a walkout basement and it would require <br />a tremendous amount of fill. .. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec' and seconded' by Councilman .Reimann to grant a variance <br />that the~ StructUre Shall be' no closer' than four-(4) feet' to' the' lot line. <br />The building inspector' when' issuing ape .rmit, shall check the surveying stakes <br />to assure proper placement of the" garage. <br /> <br />Motion carried'. Voting yes': Mayor Gamec, Councilmen' Mickelson, Reimann and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no': None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to adjou ~rn <br />the' Board of Adjusment. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Sorteberg.
