PUBLIC HEARING <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Ramsey's Council held <br />a public hearing on September· 10, 1979, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, <br />15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., RamseY, MinnesOta 55303 <br /> <br />.Members Present: Mayor Gamec Also Present: <br /> Councilman Cox <br /> Councilman Mickel son <br /> Councilman Re imann <br /> Councilman Sorteberg <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:40 '.P.M. and announced <br />the purpose of the meeting is on the' City's revenue Sharing for Enti~,lement <br />Period XI Funds. <br /> <br />The amount of dollars available for the Entitlement XI is $47,260.00, and <br />also a carry-over amount from Entitlement X in the'amount of $2,500.00 <br /> <br />Administrator Schnelle <br />Engineer Raatikka <br />Attorney Goodrich <br /> <br />~he Mayor further stated that the Public hearing was to get'input from <br />citizens from the City of Ramseyas to how they wanted to use these funds. <br />He also stated that the funds are to be Used to benefit all the citizens <br />of the City, not just one particular segment. <br /> <br />Mr. Lyle Daugherty, 15157 Yakima Street N.W., inquired as.to what the <br />funds were generally used'for. <br /> <br />~4ayor Gmnec replied that it is used for park improvement, police protection, <br />etc. <br /> <br />There was no further citizen inout. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimmnn to adjourn the <br />public hearing on Revenue Sharing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimmnn <br />and Sorteberg.
