Dental - AFSCME, LELS-Patrol and LELS-Sergeants Contracts <br />Effective January 1, 2018 the City will pay up to the dollar value for single dental insurance <br />contingent upon the employee electing dental insurance. <br /> <br />Field Training Officer Pay (FTO) LELS-Patrol & Sergeants Contracts <br />Increase field training pay (FTO) by .50 cents per hour, paying $3.00 per hour rather than $2.50 <br />per hour. <br /> <br />Longevity Pay - LELS - Patrol Contract <br />Patrol wages, in the most recent contract and earlier, includes longevity pay for Officers. <br />Longevity pay is granted after 5, 8, 12 and 16 years of service. However, the format of the <br />longevity pay has been simplified to increase by specific percentages over “Top Patrol”, as <br />follows: 2% after 5 years, 4% after 8 years, 6% after 12 years and 8% after 16 years of service. <br />This change caused some of the wage brackets to be reduced slightly and some to be increased <br />slightly. <br /> <br />Longevity Pay - LELS - Sergeants Contract <br />Effective January 1, 2018, the City will include longevity pay, over step 6, at 1% after 5 years, <br />2% after 8 years, and 3% after 12 years in the bargaining unit. . See attached. <br /> <br />Holiday Buy-back - LELS - Patrol Contract <br />Patrol Officers may buy-back no more than 54 hours of holiday pay per the terms of the MUO. <br /> <br />On-Call Pay-AFSCME Contract <br />When an employee is on-call and called in to work, the employee will no longer forfeit the 1 <br />hour of pay for being on-call. <br /> <br />Uniforms MOU - AFSMCE Contract <br />The City will provide a monetary uniform stipend to employees not enrolled in the uniform <br />service program. As follows: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The clothing stipend for Public Works Maintenance Workers will be $393.75 annually. <br /> <br /> <br />The clothing stipend for the Building Inspections Technician and Building Inspectors <br />will be $140.00 annually. <br />The clothing stipend for the Police and Fire Technicians for Class C uniforms will be <br /> <br /> <br />$140.00 annually. <br />The clothing stipend for the Crime Prevention Specialist and the Community Service <br /> <br /> <br />Officer for Class C uniforms will be $140.00 annually. <br /> <br />Seasonal Employees MOU - AFSCME Contract <br />Each division of Public Works (Parks, Streets, and Utilities), may employ up to two temporary <br />seasonals in each area per calendar year for up to a full seven months -- (no more than 6 in total) <br />hirable at 80% of step one Public Works Maintenance Worker wage scale, as AFSCME <br />Resolution #16-12-245 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
