SECTION 52.08 PERFORMANCE STANDARDS <br /> <br />;ubdtviston 1. <br /> <br />PURPOSE:, The guiding of Urban development so as to develop a <br />compatible relationship of uses depends upon certain standards <br />being maintained. Uses permitted in the various districts, <br />conditional and accessory uses shall conform to the following <br />standardst <br /> <br />NOISE: Any use producing noise shall be in conformance with the <br />minimum standards as adopted and enforced by the Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency. <br /> <br />SMOKE AND PARTICULATE MATTER: Any use established, enlarged, or <br />remodeled after the effective date of this Ordinance shall be <br />so operated as to meet the minimum requirements of the Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency regarding emission'of smoke and par- <br />ticulate matter. <br /> <br />TOXIC OR NOXIOUS MATTER: The discharge of toxic or noxious <br />matter shall conform with the minimum standards as adopted by <br />the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. <br /> <br />ODORS: The discharge of odors shall conform with the air quality <br />standards as adopted by the Pollution Control Agency. <br /> <br />VIBRATIONS: Any use creating periodic earth shaking Vibrations <br />shall be in conformance with the minimum standards concerning <br />vibration as adopted and enforced by the Minnesota Pollution <br />Control Agency. <br /> <br />GLARE AND HEAT: Any use producing heat or light transmission sba <br />be in conformance with the minimum standards as adopted and <br />enforced by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. <br /> <br /> WASTE MATERIAL: Waste material' resulting from .or. used <br />Industrial or Commercial manufa'cturing,.fabricating, servicing, <br />process, ing or trimming shall not be washed into the public storm <br />sewer system nor the sanitary sewer system, but shall be dispose( <br />of in a manner approved by the City Engineer which is consistent <br />with the policies and standards of the Minnesota Pollution Contro' <br />Agency. <br /> BULK STORAGE (LIQUID): All uses associated with the bulk storag( <br /> of oil, gasoline, liquid fertilizer, chemical and similar <br /> liquids shall comply with the requirements of the Minnesota Stat( <br /> Fi're Marshalls and Minnesota Department of Agriculture Offices <br /> have documents from those offices stating the use is in complianl <br /> <br />RADIATION EMISSION: All activities that emit radioactivity shall <br />comply with the minimum requirements of the Minnesota Pollution <br />Control Agency. <br /> <br />-56- <br /> <br /> <br />
