Councilmember Shryockintroduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #16-12-248 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROVE POSITION RECLASSIFCATIONS <br /> WHEREAS, the strategic plan identifies the City Council's desire to maintain an <br /> effective organization and to reclassify jobs in an effort to retain employees; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff identified two position to be addressed at this time; and <br /> WHEREAS, the 2017 budget accounts for the position reclassifications; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends the following: Reclassify the current Assistant Permit <br /> Technician, Ellen Krueger, to Permit Technician, at step 3 of the new wage scale, which is <br /> $23.20 per hour and the current Parks Lead Worker, Mike Berge, to Parks Supervisor, at step <br /> 2 of the new wage scale, which is $31.73 per hour. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) Motion to adopt resolution#16-12-248 to Approve Position Reclassifications, effective <br /> as of January 1, 2017, as follows: <br /> Reclassify the current Assistant Permit Technician, Ellen Krueger, to Permit Technician, <br /> at step 3 of the new wage scale, which is $23.20 per hour; and <br /> Reclassify the current Parks Lead Worker, Mike Berge, to Parks Supervisor, at step 2 of <br /> the new wage scale, which is $31.73 per hour. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Williams, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Williams <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> None <br />
