PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Ramsey City Council held a <br />public hearing on September 24, 1979, at the R~nsey Municipal Center <br />15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W. Rare. ~y, Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />coUncilman Cox <br />Councilman' Mickelson <br />Councilman Reimann <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Adm. Schnelle <br />Engineer Raatikka <br />Attorney Goodrich <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public heraing to order at 7:48 P.M. and <br />announced the purpose of the hearing is to review and consider ordinance <br />amendments to amend the City Code. <br /> <br />Administrator Schnelle reviewed some of the changes. <br />Discussion held on ordinance amendments for access roads on parcels that would <br />normally be landlocked. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec referred Section VII. STREET FRONTAGE REQUIRED back to the staff <br />for clarification. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox stated that he feels that roads that are created just to <br />serve landlocked parcels must be done in a reasonable manner for future <br />years and future development and this should be-consistent with the <br />City's platting ordinance and systematically for future development. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann discussed the cul de sac situation where in most <br />cases they do not meet the 200 foot frontage requir-ment and that maybe <br />there should be a minimum required on cul de sacs. <br /> <br />Council and staff are to review all of the proposed ordinance changes. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to continue <br />the public hearing Until the October 22, 1979 meeting to clarify the amendments. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Sorteberg.
