MIDWESTERN UNDERGROUND SITE AND DESIGN PLaN <br /> <br />There was no representative of the applicant present. The Council reviewed <br />the proposed contract. Councilman Cox said the applicant does not have <br />trees located as shown on the plan presented. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to 'enter into <br />the development contract as presented provided the applicant provide the <br />required Exhibit B to be a part of the contract. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Sorteberg and <br />Mickelson. Voting no None. <br /> <br />PARK AND RECREATION COmmITTEE <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by CouncilmanMickelson to appoint <br />Don Lokken to the Park and Recreation Commission to fill the vacancy created <br />by Smn Walz. <br /> <br />DONALD VOLNER GREENHOUSE <br /> <br />Councilman Cox stated that Representative John Weaver had called him con- <br />cerning this issue. George Diemert was present and asked why the Council <br />was opposed to greenhouses. There was a general discussion with Mr. <br />Diemert, the Council and Mr. Volner, who was also present concerning this <br />general topic. The City Attorney stated an attorney representing Mr. <br />Volner had called him concerning the Council's denial of the Volner's <br />requested conditional use permit. The Council took no further action on <br />this matter. <br /> <br />HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT (SCHAEFBAUER) <br /> <br />Mrs~. Schaefbauer was present. Administrator Schnelle reviewed the 'pro- <br />posed conditional use permit with the Council. There were no adjoining <br />land owners objection to the proposed permit. Councilman Reimann's written <br />co~nents were read. Administrator Schnelle stated that the City's Building <br />Official said the home's existing sewer system was adequate. City Admini- <br />strator Sc~znelle also pointed out that the permit required that the drive- <br />way will be paved. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sortebert to instruct <br />staff to prepare findings of fact to be presented at the March 25, 1980 <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Sorteberg and <br />Mickelson. Voting no None. <br /> <br />KENNEL PERMIT REQUEST (THOMAS JOHNSTONE) <br /> <br />Mr. Johnstone was present.
