Fred Van~revlln asied if assessment could be paid ~n cash and avoid interest <br />cost. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said yes. <br /> <br />Mr. VanKrevlin also asked regarding the traffic on 152nd going to the dump. <br />He wanted to know if state aid could be obtained for this and Mayor Gamec <br />said no. <br /> <br />Douglas Fountain asked regarding taxing in areas that have been blacktopped. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said property taxes have not increased because of the assess- <br />ment. <br /> <br />A straw vote of the lot owners from the area was taken and of the 40 owners <br />represented 22 voted against the project and 18. voted for the project. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adjourn <br />the public hearing for Beaudry's Second Addition and Peltzer Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
