Public Works Committee 6. 1. <br />Meeting Date: 01/17/2017 <br />By: Bruce Westby, Engineering/Public <br />Works <br />Title: <br />Updates on Corridor Studies for Trunk Highway 47, County State Aid Highway 5, and County State Aid Highway <br />83. <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The purpose of this case is to provide a brief update to the Public Works Committee on the status of the three <br />corridor studies that are identified in the attached three-year Strategic Action Plan. The three corridors include <br />Trunk Highway 47, CSAH 5 / Nowthen Boulevard, and Armstrong Boulevard / CSAH 83. <br />Timeframe: <br />Staff estimates this case will take 15 minutes to present and respond to questions. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />City Staff is coordinating these work efforts with Anoka County on all three corridors, along with MnDOT and the <br />City of Anoka on the Trunk Highway 47 corridor. <br />All three corridor studies are identified for completion in 2017, and at least one high priority improvement project <br />is to be commenced by 2018 on each corridor. <br />Funding Source: <br />N/A <br />Recommendation: <br />N/A <br />Action: <br />This case is being presented for informational purposes only.
