Councilman Cox asked regarding Mayor Gamec's mileage bill and why it was <br />so high. Mayor Gamec said he charges mileage only for trips such as to <br />St. Paul, <br /> <br />City Administrator Scknelle referred to case #13 on the Council agenda <br />and requested approval that he and the Mayor and/or Councilman Sorteberg <br />go to the Metropolitan Council to meet with the Council staff to review <br />the Critical River's Plan. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to authorize <br />approving City Administrator Schnelle and Mayor Gamec to attend the Metro- <br />politan Council Staff meeting to discuss the City's Critical River's Plan. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson declaring <br />the week of April 21, 1980 as Community Education Week. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, <br />Reimannand Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />It was announced that the R.Y.A.A. is having a pancake breakfast and wants <br />to post signs. The breakfast will be held on May 4, 1980. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to waive the <br />permit fee for the signs if they take them down right away. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor. Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, l~ckelson, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann announced Arbor Day is Friday, April 25, 1980, and the <br />tree planting ceremony will be on that day, the time is to be determined <br />at a later date. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Cox to adjourn <br />the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 11:55 P.M. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Lloyd G.
