Mayor Gamec said several other cities have agreed to go along wi%h the
DNR and their four acre lot size minimum.

Councilman Cox said we need to prove to the Metropolitan Council that
we are capable of handling these decisions on our own and that we can
properly handle the City's growth. He said nothing can be gained by
four acre lot sizes in Ramsey as we are unique here, and that this must
be emphasize. He also said we need to convince them of the working of
the co~nunity and that we do fit within the general Metropolitan Area
mold.

The concensus of the Council is that the City should stick with the 2½
acre minimum lot size in its Critical River's Plan.

TRAPROCK COMMONS PLAT

Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to approve
the Land Surveyor Certificate of correction of plat regarding Traprock
Commons.

Motion carried. Councilman
Reimannsaid he had a hard time convincing anyone to participate in the
tree sale this year, so he didn't know if there would be many bidders.

Councilman Cox said a letter from the City should be written telling
Noble Narsey that their ad was misleading regarding use of the name of
Ramsey in their tree sale promotion in a recent Anoka County Shopper.

Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilman Reimann to
adjourn the meeting.

Motion carried.
