Councilman Cox noted another correction on page 10, 4th paragraph, 3rd line <br />from the bottom, which should read, "Councilman Cox said he feels it is not <br />unusual for the public to not complain abou% a Councilman's business" instead <br />of, "not complain about a business". <br /> <br />Councilman Cox noted on page 13 under "Employee's Mileage Payment" that it <br />was recorded that Councilman Sorteberg. abs%ained. Councilman Sorteberg <br />indicated he voted "no". <br /> <br />Councilman Cox noted on page 13 under "VernWeaver Subdivision" that the <br />motion should read~ "Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman <br />Reimann that the city accept the negotiated settlement of $600.00 as discussed <br />by Mr. Weaver and his attorney for the following reasons: <br /> <br />a) The property adjoins the neighboring municipality. <br />b) Only one new dwelling will be created and there will be no <br /> great pressure on the park system by this subdivision." <br /> <br />Councilman Cox also noted that no votes were recorded for the motions under <br />items b) and d) on page 11. <br /> <br />It was suggested that approval of the minutes be tabled because Councilman <br />Mickelson was absent and his votes on these items were not known. ..~.. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by. Councilman Reimann to table <br />approval of the minutes for the regular council meeting of April 22, 1980 <br />until the next regular council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann and <br />Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to approve <br />the minutes for the Council Public Hearing on Soderholm Industrial Revenue <br />Bonds held on April 22, 1980. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann and <br />Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Mayor Gamec to approve the minutes <br />for the Special Council Meeting of May 5, 1980 regarding the landfill. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimann and Cox. <br />Voting no-None. Councilman Sorteberg Abstained. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimaran to approve the <br />minutes for the Special Council Meeting of May ?, 1980 regarding the landfill. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimann and Cox. <br />Voting no-None.
