Mrs. Roger D.icke~_]son, 6!5.0' Rivlyn Avenue <br /> Mrs. Dickenson asked if they were going to widen Tungsten Street to 24 feet. <br /> <br /> City Engineer Raatikka said Tungsten Street was proposed to be widened to 24 feet. <br /> Mr. Steve Norton, 6206 Rivlyn Avenue <br /> <br />Mr. Norton asked how long the overlay would last with 5 to 10 ton trucks going <br />over it. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka said the overlay would last until the sewer and water <br />came in Jn five to ten years. <br /> <br />Mr, August Grosslein, 13554 TungSten St. <br /> <br />Mr. Grosslein asked if they were going to cut the street down to take care of <br />the storm sewer drainage. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka said they amc not going to cut the whole street down, <br />but 150 feet north of Rivlyn would be cut down. <br /> <br />Mm. Roger Dickenson, Jr., Box '266, Elk River <br /> <br />Mr. Dickenson asked about digging the ditches Out. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka said they do not plan to do that. <br /> <br />Mr. Dickenson, Jr. said he felt the ditches should be restored to where they were <br />originally.' He. said he could prove there is still a ditch there because a culvert <br />can be found beneath the road. <br /> <br />Mr. Kerry OiRourke, 6232 Rivlyn Avenue <br /> <br />Mr. O'Rourke asked who initiated the meetings regarding the improvements of <br />Tungsten Street and Rivlyn Avenue. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann said the council was informed that there were~..water problems <br />there and the council asked the City Engineer to advise them on what to do about <br />it. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said the businessmen initiated this by informing <br />the City about the problem there. <br /> <br />Mr. 'O'Rourke said there was no water problem there that lasted longer than a day. <br />in all the years he has been living there before the commercial people came in. <br />He asked where all the water was coming from and he noted it was the business <br />people who complained, not the residents. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said the water was coming from Mm.
