PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> City of Ramsey <br /> Anoka County <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br />P & Z <br /> o/7/8o <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call amd notice thereof, the City of Ramsey's Planning <br />& Zoning Commission held a Public Hearing at the Ramsey Municipal Center, <br />1~153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota ~303, on October 7, 1980 to <br />consider the application of Stanley Morton for a conditional use permit <br />to grow and sell trees and sb_rubs. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Ken Peterson (Chairman) <br />Benjamin Deemer <br />Art Dunn <br />Har~y Ellis <br />Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br />Lloyd Schnelle, <br /> City Administrator <br /> <br />Members Absent: Kathy Schneider and Ron West <br /> <br />Chaiz~an Ken Petrrson called the meeting to order at 7:~0 P.M. and explained <br />the purpose of the meeting was for amyone who was interested to comment on <br />the conditional use request o£ Stanley Morton to sell trees and shrubs <br />at his residence at 163~5 St. Francis Blvd. <br /> <br />Mr. Stanley E. Mor~on, ~6355 St. Francis Blvd. <br /> <br />Mr. Morton said he had ten (10) acres of land on which he has been growing <br />trees and shrubs for years. He said he .would be retiring in May and he · <br />wanted to sell trees & shrubs for a little retirement income. <br /> <br />Art Dunn questioned whether this was an agricultture-type commodity or not. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said FLr. Morton is doing everything the <br />ordinance requires by coming before the council with his request.
