Mayor Gamec led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the FlAg. <br /> <br />As per the agenda, Case #1 - Finance of Council Old Business was the first <br />order of business. <br /> <br />COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Finance (a. Annual Audit Report for 1981; b. Appointment of audit <br />firm to conduct annual City audit for 1982; c. Second Quarter <br />Revenue and Expenditures Report as to 1982 City Budget; d. Cash <br />Flow Report through June 30, 1982; e. State Auditor's report on <br />Ramsey's Financial Health Profile as to other communities' size. <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Annual City Audit Report for 1981 - ~. John Lilja of Deloitte, <br />Haskins & Sells was present at the meeting, along with City <br />Accountant Jeanne Moen, and reviewed 1981 City Audit with <br />Councilmembers. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec complimented Jeanne Moen on the outstanding quality <br />of her work and informed Mr. Lilja that he is very appreciative <br />of the working relationship that has developed between the <br />firm of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells and the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />b) Appointment of Audit Firm to Conduct 1982 Annual City Audit - <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />reappoint the firm of Deloitee, Haskins & Sells to conduct the <br />1982 annual audit of the City of Ramsey at a cost not to exceed <br />$7,500 as per their letter dated July 15, 1982. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers / <br />Sorteberg and Van Wagner. Voting No: None.
