I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PROCEE'DINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, August 24, <br />1982 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann, Acting Mayor <br />Councilmember Al Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br /> <br />Also Present' <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Reporter Eric Sandin <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was called to order at 7:40 P.M. <br />by Councilmember Reimann. Councilmember Reimann led in the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen - 15631Ramsey Blvd. - Informed Council that there is a ........ <br />water drainage problem on his property due to the County's recent improvements=~=~ <br />to County Rd. #56. He further stated that this water drainage problem is <br />aggravated by the City's improvements to 156th and 157th Lanes. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann suggested adding Mr. Terry Hendriksen to the agenda. <br /> <br />Jake Barthold - 1206 Bunker Lake Blvd. - Stated that he owns..a total of 62 <br />acres on Hwy. #47 and would like to deed off 5 acres to his son to build a home <br />on. According to the Building Inspector, anything North of 156th requires a <br />10 acre minimum in order to obtain a building permit. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann suggested adding Mr. Jake Barthold to the agenda. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle informed Council that Case #6-c under Council New Business refers <br />to Mr. R. D. Scott's request for variance to sell 17 acres without going <br />through Subdivision Code process. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />approve the agenda with the following additions: <br /> <br />1. Mr. Terry Hendriksen - To be discussed during Case #6 of Council Old <br /> Business. <br /> <br />2. Mr. Jake Barthold - To be discussed as first order of business under <br /> Council New Business. <br /> <br />C/August 24 Page <br /> <br /> <br />
