Mr. Hoffman objected and did not <br />want his alfalfa field disturbed. <br /> <br />Ms. Boeris and Mr. Gillman were present at the Council meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle suggested that the City issue a letter to affected <br />citizens stating what the City expects to have done to Magnesium <br />(upgraded to meet City standards) and that letter would also <br />let Mr. Holmes know just what the City wants. <br /> <br />Ms. Boeris inquired why it was necessary for ~4r. Gillman to hire <br />an attorney to resolve this matter, that it should be up to <br />the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Council informed bis. Boeris that the matter is a civil suit. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed Ms. Boeris and Mr. Gillman that if Mr. Holmes <br />upgrades the street to meet City standards, the City will take <br />over maintenance of that road. <br /> <br />Council consensus is to agree with the proposed alignment of <br />Magnesium Street. <br /> <br />b) Menkveld Mobile Home Park Conditional Use Permit <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that Mr. Gilbert Menkveld could not be present <br />at the meeting and that he will contact the City when he wants <br />his case put on the agenda again. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that Mr. Gilbert Menkveld is disagreeable to <br />paying costs incurred in contacting PCA regarding this matter. <br /> <br />Council directs Mr. Schnelle to bill Mr. Menkveld for these costs. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner <br />to discuss Case #8 Gerald Peltzer under New Business at this <br />time. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
