I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Item #6 - Accessory building, tower and down guys shall be fenced to <br /> prevent trespassing and injury in the incidence of inadvertent <br /> encroachment. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer then suggested adding another item to the proposed <br />agreement: <br /> <br />Item #8 - Park fee, as established by the City of Ramsey, be paid prior <br /> to issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />Motion failed. Voting Yes: None. Voting No: Chairman Peterson, tCommissioners <br />Zimmerman, Isakson, LaDue and Schneider. Abstain: Commissioner Deemer . <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, who was present in the audience, requested from Commissioner <br />Deemer an explanation for his vote of abstention. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer replied that personally, he wants to abstain from the vote. <br />He stated that he is interested in cable T.V., he is in favor of cable T.V., <br />does not expect to have cable available to his home for another 15-20 years, <br />and that he does not want to go against the public with a "yes" vote. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec replied that Commissioner Deemer i's neglecting his duty as a <br />member of the Commission, that Commissioner Deemer owes the public an <br />answer and that if he can't fulfill his duties as a Commissioner, he should <br />resign. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that he has not resolved the matter in his own mind <br />as of yet, that he plans to stand on his abstention, and if he were to change <br />his vote, it would be to "yes". <br /> <br />Case #3: Appointments/Reappointments Of Commission Members: <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Zimmerman and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to <br />recommend City Council approve of the reappointments of Commissioner Schneider <br />and Commissioner Deemer to the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Zimmerman, <br />Deemer, Isakson, Schneider and LaDue. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Schneider and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to adjourn <br />the regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson~ Commissioners Zimmerman, <br />Deemer, Isakson, Schneider and LaDue.
