I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I TO: Planning and Zoning Commission FROM: City Staff RE: Planning and Zoning Business Enclosure (D2-a) (D2-b) Information regarding variance request by Miss Marlys Schindeldecker Information regarding preliminary plat approval request for Sorteberg's First Addition CASE #1: REQUEST FO~ A VARIANCE TO SUBDIVIDE BY METES AND BOUNDS; CASE OF MISS MARLYS SCHINDELDECKER: Miss Marlys Schindeldecker who owns parcel 7350 on the southeast corner of 153rd Avenue NW and Hedgehog Street NW is requesting authorization to subdivide by metes and bounds a five acre parcel. The property is bordered on three sides by the Whispering Pines plats which are one acre parcels. However, the Comprehensive Plan requires ten acre densities. The following items are included as enclosure (D2-a) for your consideration: a) Applicant's application b) Applicant's letter of transmittal c) Area location map d) Proposed findings of fact Commission Action: Your action in this matter will be to recommend approval/ denial/amendment of the findings of fact as well as recommend approval/denial of the request. The following proposed motions are hereby submitted for your consideration: Motion by and seconded by to recommend that Council approve/deny/amend the findings of fact for Mrs. Marlys Schindeldecker's request to subdivide by metes and bounds.
