If the City is going to <br />require blacktopping, then those persons located across the street from <br />Mr. Sortebergs property should pay their fair share and a public hearing <br />should be conducted to obtain input from those persons. <br /> <br />Commissioners LaDue, Isakson and Deemer are in favor of granting a variance <br />to blacktopping. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson and Commissioners Zimmerman and Dunn are in favor of <br />conducting a public hearing regarding blacktopping. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dunn stated that other developers were required to put in <br />blacktop and if the development is to be on an existing street, there are <br />people who will be affected and those persons affected are entitled to <br />have their say at a public hearing. <br /> <br />Commissioners Isakson and Deemer agree and state that they are now in favor <br />of a public hearing. <br /> <br />Planningand Zoning Commission consensus is that Mr. A1Sorteberg proceed <br />to the Preliminary Plat Stage and that the City conduct'a public hearing <br />regarding paving of 157th Avenue NW. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson noted receiving Local Government Information Network <br />.(LOGIN) 1982 Manufactured Housing Law - Planning Brief from Metro Council. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson commended all persons involved with the "Ramsey Resident" <br />as an effort to inform the people of Ramsey. Chairman Peterson further <br />stated that any member of Planning and Zoning Commission having input for <br />the P & Z Column of the "Ramsey Resident", contact either Commissioner' <br />Schneider or himself. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Isakson and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to adjourn <br />the regular Planning and Zoning Meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairmanpeterson, Commissioners Dunn, Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, Isakson and LaDue. Voting No: None.
