Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: Board Of Review Time And Date For City Of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Council noted Board of Review meeting at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 1983 <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that he would like to discuss with Council <br />the matter of Solid Waste Landfill Siting Authority, which he failed to <br />mention during'Approval of Agenda. <br /> <br />Case ~6: Solid Waste Landfill siting Authority: <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich read aloud to Council and audience, a letter dated <br />March 25, 1983 from Vern Peterson of Association Of Metropolitan Municipalities <br />to Mr. Lloyd Schnelle regarding Solid Waste Landfill Siting Authority. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that the existing Subject bill states that Ramsey can <br />select a person to serve on the Siting Board, which Board will do the <br />actual siting of the County inventory. The proposed bill would change it <br />so that the County has total authority regarding final site selection. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec suggested that there should be a resolution, that based on <br />Ramsey's feelings as a host community, there should be a member of that <br />community serving on the Siting Board. <br /> <br />Sp C/March 28, 1983 <br /> Page 4 of 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
