Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #17-01-029 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #17-01, ALPINE DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution #16-08-139, adopted August 8th, 2016, the City Engineer prepared a Feasibility Report for City Improvement Project 917-01 which proposes improvements to Alpine Drive between Armstrong Boulevard/CSAR 83 and Variolite Street including the reconstruction of bituminous pavement, the replacement of damaged concrete curb and gutter, and other appurtenant work as needed; and WHEREAS,the City Council received the Feasibility Report on January 24, 2017; and WHEREAS, the Feasibility Report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost-effective and feasible; whether the proposed project should be made as proposed or in conjunction with another improvement; and the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective and feasible as detailed in the Feasibility Report accepted by Council on January 24th, 2017. 2. The City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement, and the engineer is ordered to prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvements. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 24th day of January, 2017.
