Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #17-01-029 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND ORDERING PLANS AND <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #17-01, ALPINE DRIVE <br /> RECONSTRUCTION <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution 416-08-139, adopted August <br /> 8th, 2016, the City Engineer prepared a Feasibility Report for City Improvement Project 417-01 <br /> which proposes improvements to Alpine Drive between Armstrong Boulevard/CSAH 83 and <br /> Variolite Street including the reconstruction of bituminous pavement, the replacement of <br /> damaged concrete curb and gutter, and other appurtenant work as needed; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council received the Feasibility Report on January 24, 2017; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Feasibility Report provides information regarding whether the proposed <br /> project is necessary, cost-effective and feasible; whether the proposed project should be made as <br /> proposed or in conjunction with another improvement; and the estimated cost of the <br /> improvements as recommended. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective and feasible as detailed in the Feasibility <br /> Report accepted by Council on January 24, 2017. <br /> 2) The City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement, and the <br /> engineer is ordered to prepare plans and specifications for the making of such <br /> improvements. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Kuzma and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> None <br />
