MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann stated that the annual tree sale went very well <br />and a local Cub Scout troop purchased some trees to be planted on City Hall <br />property. There will be an Arbor Day Ceremony held Thursday, May 12, 1983 <br />at City Hall to plant these trees and the Cub Scout troop will be invited to <br />the May 31, 1983 Council meeting for the purpose of accepting a letter of <br />appreciation from the City. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich referred to Case #11: Easements. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Mayor Gamec to authorize City <br />Attorney to negotiate with owners for easements necessary in Street Improvement <br />Project #83-2 and if City Attorney deems necessary to commence eminent domain <br />action regarding those properties. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann and Schlueter. <br />Voting No: Councilmember Sorteberg. Absent: CounCilmember Van Wagner. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />adjourn the special Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann <br />and Schlueter. Voting No: None.
