Voting yes Voting no CASE #6: I I I I I CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGETING: I am enclosing some excerpts from the League of Cities handbook as enclosure (D2-d) which lays out in the broad form the Plan- ning and Zoning Commission's responsibilities in capital improve- ment budgeting. Accordingly, I have spoken to the Metro Council Staff members and they would be willing to come out and hold a training session on capital improvement budgeting. At one time the Commission was going to get involved in this issue but didn't and I think it was mainly because of the tremendous involvement in the Comprehensive Plan at that time. However, that project has been finished and now the Planning and Zoning Commision should look at involvement in this part of the City planning.
