Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #8: _A~ointment To Fill Vacated Position On Plannin9 And Zoning Commission: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to <br />appoint Mr. Terry Hendriksen to fill the vacated position on the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission which will expire on December 31, 1985. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mayor Gamec stated that he has talked with P&Z Chairman <br />Kenneth Peterson and Mr. Peterson informed him that P&Z also looked very <br />strongly at Dr. Kennen. Mayor Gamec suggested that City Council interview both <br />Mr. Hendriksen and Mr.' Kennen before making a decision. Councilmember Reimann <br />stated that interviewing all five of the applicants would be even better, that <br />in his opinion the most qualified of the five applicants was not even recommended <br />for appointment. <br /> <br />Mayor Gam. eG called for a roll call vote. <br /> <br />Councilmember..Sorteberg - Naye <br />Councilmember Van Wagner - Aye <br />Mayor Gamec - Naye <br />Councilmember Reimann - Naye <br />Councilmember Schlueter - Aye <br /> <br />Motion fails. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg to appoint Dr. E.L.
