Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: Metro Council's 1984 Work Pro,ram And Budget: <br /> <br />Council noted receiving Metro Council's 1984 Work Program and Budget. <br /> <br />Case #8: Economic Development: <br /> <br />Council noted City Administrator's memo relating to the Dickenson case, Metro <br />Council's approach to economic development and Tax Increment Financing. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec and Mr. Schnelle discussed LAWCON grants and the fact that Ramsey's <br />Central Bark is not eligible because it is not located in an urban area° <br />Their intentions are to draft a requeststating that cities like Ramsey <br />should be eligible for LAWCON grants if the development is within the city's <br />borders and not necessarily within the urban area. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that the workings of Tax Increment Financing will be <br />discussed at the next regular EDC meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by councilmember Reimann to <br />adjourn the regular Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner.
