The following is an entirely different
determining PARK FEE ?or property within
RAMSEY. It is based on %he diverse
urban/rural type ci%g such as Ramsay. In
o¢ ci~les and their P~rk ?ormulas~ %here

formula ?or
the city
needs o¢ an

the research
was found no

simple method that would satisfy the present and future
needs o9 this city. Stress the ?uture needs, as the most
important criteria was 'to be equitable without needing
to make changes in the ?orseeable future, except to the
base' figure as this method is applied. No changes wouId
be necessary to how or who it would be applied to.

This new method will also remove the burden o? the park
Cee ?rom the developer o? the property, and put it on
the end user. The end user is the party~ who create the
need ?or park~ and their development and m~intenance.
It is assumed that~ because the developer is saving
mqneg, in the form o? not paying a large tee, or not
donating deveIopeable land, UP FRONT,. .that this will.
lower the Cost o? the land to the end user. Ttmis new
method should be equitable to aIZ sectors o~ Ramseys
residential and business community.

Here it is':

The ¢ormula ?or determining Park Dedication is as
follows: A fee amounting to two and one-hal? tenths o?
one percent o? each building permit, based on the value
o? the building as determined bg the Building o?ficiaI,
~nd ~s stated on the building permit. This FEE will be
computed by the ~inance dep~rtment~ who will m~ke the
