Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />f) Sealcoatin~ Pro~ect #83-12, Rum Acres Estates I and II: <br /> <br />Council requested Staff's advice regarding one property with <br />two homes, two driveways, two entrances and two addresses. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka recommended that the portion of the <br />property occupied by the renter (the second dwelling) also <br />receive an assessment for the street improvement. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle advised that another public hearing would have to be <br />conducted to increas~ the ~umber Of units being assessed. Council <br />can adopt a resolution to adopt the assessment rolls with a <br />provision stating that another parcel of land may be added to the <br />assessment rolls. Even after a project has been assessed out, <br />if an error is found, Council can reopen the issue up for another <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember <br />Sorteberg to adopt Resolution #83-159, a resoution adopting <br />assessment rolls for Sealcoating Project #83-12, Rum Acres <br />Estates I and II, with the provision that the number of units <br />to be assessed will be reviewed and possibly amended.
