Mr. Sieber stated that he is not aware that a certificate of indebtedness <br />for a charter city is limited to 1/10%, he agrees that Ramsey needs a <br />computer system, and requested proof that it is a State law that a charter <br />city is limited to 1/10%. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to <br />recommend the following proposed uses of Revenue Sharing funds: <br /> <br />1) Rack for minutes <br />2) Desk and plat file <br />3) Asphalt saw <br />4) Police squad car <br /> <br />5) Central Park development <br />6) Box scraper <br />7) Grass seeder <br />8) Bleachers <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />Case #4: Gateway North Industrial Airport: <br /> <br />a) Ap~ointin~ of Two Replacement Members to the Airport Commission: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and second~.d by GounCi~member Reimann <br />to appoint the following persons to the Airport Commission: <br /> <br />1) Dick Sieber; two year term expiring December 30, 1985. <br /> <br />2} Jeanne Moen; one year term expiring December 30, 1984. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Schnelle stated that he doesn't feel it is a <br />good policy for City Staff to serve on a commission. Councilmember <br />Reimann replied that Ms. Moen is a resident of the city. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, Schlueter <br />and Van Wagner. Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />b) Adoption of Resolution Establishin~ Tasks of Air~ort Commission: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to adopt Resolution #83-165, a resolution establishing the tasks of the <br />Airport Commission, establishing the length of appointments for first and <br />second years and directing that an ordinance be prepared regarding the <br />establishing of the Airport Commission. (Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution #83-165). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Reimann, Schlueter, Sorteberg <br />and Van Wagner. Voting No: None.
