Lang, Office Manager <br /> <br />National League of Cities Congressional-City Conference <br /> <br />The National League of Cities 1979 Congressional-City Conference is scheduled for <br />March 15-18, 1980 in Washington, D.C. Enclosed is an advance registration form <br />which outlines the program in brief. You'll note the deadline for advance registra- <br />tion is February 22, 1980 and the deadline for cancellation is February 29, 1980. <br />The conference will be held at the Washington Hilton Hotel. If you're planning to <br />attend the conference we urge you to make your hotel reservations as soon as <br />possible. NLC will NOT reserve a block of rooms at any hotel for any state league. <br />Rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and the earlier you <br />register and request hotel reservations, the better chance you'll have of getting <br />the room rate you prefer in your first choice hotel. NLC will NOT make a hotel <br />reservation for you unless you have eegiStered for the conference. <br /> <br />The Minnesota League will again sponsor a Minnesota Breakfast, and possibly a <br />reception, on Monday, March 17. A specific schedUle will be sent in advance of <br />the conference. <br /> <br />In previous years conference delegates have scheduled their arrival and departure <br />on various dates, with the majority leaving on Saturday or Sunday and returning <br />on Tuesday or Wednesday.
