This report presents the results of our audit of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota, as required by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development ~flministration (EDA), Office of Public Works for LPW (Grant No~ 06-51-02857). This grant required the.grantee to construct a-new city hall and fire station-~ .. The~grantprovides-~or-~eimbursement ~ of costs '%uburred in-'an amount'-not -to-exceed- ~;595-,058~- The objectives of our examination' were to (i) review, test and report upon the costs incurred under the grant, and (ii) review, test and report on compliance with grant terms, conditions and EDA requirements. Accord-ingly, we have performed an examination of the costs incurred by the grantee and reviewed its method of complying with the LPW grant requirements for the period from January 4, 1977 through December lB, 1979. .Our work did not constitute an audit of financial statements prepared by the City of Ramsey other than the Statement of Project Costs Claimed from January k, 1977 through December lB, 1979 (Exhibit A), and the Status of Grant Fund Payments ss of December lB, 1979 (Exhibit B). Details concerning the scope of audit, the results of audit and the discussion of audit results with grantee officials for each of the are.as described below, are presented in the referenced attachments.
