<br />Th; above program has been submitted to the Metropolitan Council for review under
<br />provisions of the Metropolitan Land Planning Act.
<br />
<br />The applicant has stated that they have sent copies of the program to local units
<br />of government lying in whole or in part within the District and adjacent school
<br />districts at least nine months prior to sending it to the Council for rev.iew.
<br />
<br />Notified units of government and school districts have 30 days subsequent to the
<br />receipt of this notice in which to express questions and concerns about the program
<br />to the Council and to request a hearing before the Council. A'hearing request must
<br />be made by resolution of the requesting unit's governing body.
<br />
<br />It should be noted that regardless of whether a public hearing is formally re-
<br />quested by any of the notified communities or districts, the Metropolitan Council
<br />will, in accord with its procedure governing Local Plan Reviews, hold at least
<br />one public meeting regarding this plan. Notice of this meeting will be transmitted
<br />to your community and district and your representatives may appear and offer testi-
<br />mony regarding the program.
