PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on February 25, 1980, <br />at the R~r~sey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilman Cox <br />Councilman Reimann <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br />Councilman Mickelson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Adm. Schnelle <br />City Attorney Goodrich <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. a~d led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was no citizen input. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimarm and seconded by Councilman Cox to approve the <br />agenda with the following item being added to Old Business: <br /> <br />5. State Aid Discussion <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Sorteberg. Voting no None. <br /> <br />A~PROVAL OF COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann ~d seconded by Councilman Mickelson to accept <br />the minutes of February 12, 1980 with the following correction: <br /> <br />Page 11 Paragraph 1 <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman <br />Reimann to send a letter to the Legislators and Senators <br />discouraging the funding for Minnesota Daily and its <br />pornographic paper and also encouraging the Board of <br />Regents of the U of M to remove the left winged socialistic <br />minded professors. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimarm <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no None. <br /> <br />C/February 2~, 1980 <br /> <br /> <br />
